Résumé

Mû par son anthropocentrisme, l’homme s’est permis d’inférioriser les animaux, jusqu’à les réifier et les exploiter sans limites. Afin de sortir d’une vision hiérarchique, de penser les individus animaux dans leur singularité et leur richesse, ce texte met l’accent sur le lien de l’homme à l’animal, lien lui-même placé sous le signe de la tendresse. Celle-ci nous apparaît comme une précieuse porte d’entrée vers l’altérité et une célébration de la rencontre entre animaux humains et non humains.

Abstract

Driven by anthropocentrism, humans have allowed themselves to lower animals to the point of reifying and exploiting them without limit. To move away from a hierarchical vision, and to think of animal individuals in terms of their singularity and richness, this text emphasizes the bond between humans and animals, itself set under the sign of tenderness. Tenderness seems to us to be a precious doorway to otherness and a celebration of the encounter between human and non-human animals.
